Join Active Minds at the first-ever Speak Your Mind event!
At Speak Your Mind, fellow UCLA Bruins who have been personally impacted by mental illness will share their stories of living with mental illness, caring for a mentally ill loved one, recovery, and hope.
This is a FANTASTIC opportunity to get a first-hand account of various mental illnesses from the perspective of the sufferer. We’ll be discussing major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, suicidal ideation, and much more.
The panel will be WEDNESDAY, APRIL 17th from 5-6:30 pm in the Rieber Vista Multipurpose Room (on the first floor).
I hope to see you all there! Feel free to invite your friends, roommates, floormates, etc.
After the speakers have all shared their stories, we’ll open the floor for a question and answer session. We’ll also give audience members the opportunity to share their experiences with mental health issues as well.
I look forward to seeing you there! GO ACTIVE MINDS!
